Thank you for taking the time to register your child for 7^th and 8^th grade basketball. Below is the try-out schedule and coach information:

Coaches:

• 7^th Grade Coach-Mr. Linch
• 8^th Grade Coach- Mr. Leible

Try-Out Schedule:

• January 9^th: 7^th grade from 4:30-6:00
• January 10^th: 7^th grade from 4:30-6:00
• January 11^th: No Try-outs (Home wrestling match)
• January 12^th: 8^th grade from 2:30-4:30, 7^th grade from 4:30-6:00
• January 13^th: 8^th grade from 2:30-4:30
• January 16^th: No School-No Try-outs
• January 17^th: 8^th grade from 2:30-4:30, 7^th grade practice from 4:30-6:00

All 7^th grade students will attend the 7^th grade try-outs. 7^th graders can be invited to play for the 8^th grade team if their skillset is deemed to be beneficial to the 8^th grade team.

Following try-outs, a practice and game schedule will be distributed. All games will occur at 3:15. Most practices will begin at 2:30 after school with some occurring at 4:30.

Students will not be permitted to try-out unless the following have been done and submitted by January 4^th:

• Family ID registration submitted
• Section 6 and 7 of PIAA physical submitted for students that did not play a Unami fall sport or Section 8 of the PIAA physical if they did play a fall sport.
• Concussion impact screening and concussion education completed within last two years at Unami (directions to be sent to those registered)
