7^th and 8^th Boys BBall Try-Out Info

Below are the try-out dates for 7^th and 8^th grade boys bball. Due to the 8^th grade girls’ basketball season wrapping up during the week of try-outs, please note the time for a few of the 7^th grade try-out dates. Due to the quantity of students registered, not every student will be able to make the team. Please discuss the possibility with your child that they may not make the team prior to try-outs.

7^th grade (Coach Mr. Henson)

• January 10^th from 4:30-6:00 (students must go home and come back)
• January 11^th from 4:30-6:00 (students must go home and come back)
• January 12^th from 2:30-4:30

8^th grade (Coach Mr. Leible)

• January 14^th from 2:30-4:30
• January 18^th from 2:30-4:30

In order for students to try-out, the following must be completed:

• Family ID Registration
• Submitted section 6 and 7 of the 2021-2022 PIAA physical for those that did not play a fall sport at Unami. For those that played a fall sport, section 8 will need to be submitted. Physical forms need to be uploaded with the registration under the “Most Recent Physical” tab. Non-PIAA physical forms cannot be accepted.
• Completed concussion education and impact screening in the last two years at Unami (information to be sent to those registered who have not completed in the past)
